One conversation can contain several messages

Under Ariy’s published website plan, a conversation is one website chat thread during a fixed 24-hour window beginning with Nia’s first successful reply. Opening the widget does not count. Ten messages, follow-up questions and a booking within that window remain one conversation.

The window does not restart at midnight or extend with every message. A successful reply after the window ends can begin another conversation. Separate anonymous threads are not automatically treated as the same person; a long-running case can span more than one window.

A few useful examples

  • Open the chat and leave without a successful reply: no conversation starts.
  • Ask a question, send several follow-ups and complete a configured booking in the same active window: one website conversation.
  • Return to that thread after its 24-hour window and receive another successful reply: another window can count.
  • An internal retry, model call or handoff is not a separate customer conversation.

Read the allowance alongside the billing schedule

Published plans start with 50 website conversations each month at no charge. The paid Front Desk plan includes 150 total monthly conversations for CA$20 per month, or CA$120 paid upfront for a year—the equivalent of CA$10 per month. The paid total replaces the free 50; it is not 150 plus 50.

Additional 100-conversation blocks add CA$10 per month on the selected billing schedule, equivalent to CA$120 per year for an annual block. Prices are in Canadian dollars before applicable tax. Larger workloads are scoped with Ariy.

An annual payment does not create one annual pool of conversations. Included allowance resets monthly in the business’s time zone and does not roll over. Existing signed agreements and previously purchased capacity retain their agreed terms.

Confirm what is active for your business

These are the published offer and counting rules. Your setup confirmation and active agreement establish what has been enabled for your account. Paid plans are arranged with Ariy; the pricing page does not activate a subscription or take payment.

Ask Ariy to confirm your allowance, reset period, usage reporting and contact fallback before activation. If a usage figure looks wrong, provide the conversation reference and approximate time so it can be checked without copying the customer’s whole transcript.

Agree what happens at the limit

The published policy is to warn before the allowance runs out, complete already admitted work within bounded limits and use the configured contact fallback for new requests at the limit. There is no automatic upgrade or unapproved overage purchase.

Verify that warning, fallback and usage enforcement for your actual setup before relying on them. A published policy alone does not establish that every account control has been activated. Existing appointments should not disappear because a new-conversation allowance is exhausted.

Phone time has separate terms

Website conversations do not include a telephone-minute allowance. Phone service, its number or routing, included minutes and fallback are agreed separately before activation. A browser voice demonstration does not activate phone answering for your business.

For the proposed phone service, the counting basis is connected AI call seconds aggregated over the month and rounded up once to a minute. Confirm that basis and its call-receipt verification in your service agreement before relying on a bill or usage total. There is no automatic phone overage purchase.

Public MCP resource reads do not use a Nia conversation. Enabled model-backed MCP conversations and messaging have their own confirmed usage terms; do not apply the website-thread example to every channel.
