Ask a question that can change a decision
“Tell me everything about this company” leaves the finish line unclear. “Does this company serve our area, and what evidence supports that?” gives research a purpose.
Hermes is Ariy’s research and evidence system intelligence. Research scope, access and delivery are agreed first; it is not a promise that every requested fact or contact can be found.
Give the research a useful boundary
Decision to support: Subject or company URL: Specific questions: What we already know and its sources: Permitted sources and exclusions: Required freshness: What sufficient evidence looks like: Deadline and agreed effort: Who will use the result:
Read findings alongside their evidence
Look for the source, when it was observed, what it supports and what remains uncertain. A page being inaccessible differs from a fact being absent. Neither should become an invented answer.
When sources disagree, keep the disagreement visible. You may need newer evidence or a direct confirmation before using the result.
Make corrections traceable
If you know a finding is wrong, provide the corrected fact and the supporting source or date. That gives the team something concrete to revisit. Avoid adding private customer information when public or less sensitive evidence will answer the question.
Research can inform Remy or another authorized workflow, but it does not itself grant permission to contact a person or change a customer record.
