2025 · Identity, website & proposal design

An infrastructure venture, brought into focus.

A complete visual identity, a focused website and a detailed investment proposal for an EV infrastructure venture.

A mark.
A system.
A business presence.

VoltSpan Ventures / The brief

An infrastructure business has more than one audience.

Property owners need to understand the opportunity. Potential partners need to understand the business. A proposal needs to carry much more detail than a first introduction. VoltSpan needed an identity that could work across all three.

The signature

One identity. Every scale.

The faceted symbol and widely spaced wordmark work together as a complete signature. Seen separately, each part reveals its own rhythm.

The identity, out in the world / 2025

Built to belong together.

The same geometry, color and character, carried from the mark to the first conversation.

Beyond the identity / Proposal design

From identity to investment proposal.

The February 2025 Bowmanville Mall proposal brings the brand into a longer business conversation: research, scope, phases, commercial models and technical considerations.

This original contents spread shows the document’s hierarchy and editorial structure. Shown as proposal design from 2025; installation outcomes are outside this case study.

The digital expression

Different questions.
A clear way in.

The website gives property owners, businesses and EV enthusiasts their own route into VoltSpan. The identity stays consistent while the information changes with the audience.

The VoltSpan website carries the identity into audience-specific solution pages, company information and partnership enquiries.

Recognition across formats.

The mark, colour system and typography connect the business card, brand guide, proposal and website. Each format has a different job without looking like a different company.

Detail when it matters.

The website makes the introduction. The proposal makes room for scope, research, project phases and commercial considerations. The design supports that change in depth.

What the work brings together
